A quick overview of the latest Internet usage stats.

Hi, Brian Starzec here. In this week's newsletter I wanted to talk about the latest figures on US Internet activity because the number of Americans online was up over 10%.

Let's take a look.

Nielsen Online reports that for June the United States had over 172 million active Internet users. "Active home Internet users" is defined by the number of people that logged on in the last 30 days.

This was a remarkable 10% growth over May, representing a little over 16 million more people online. Look at the growth numbers worldwide.

I cannot emphasize enough of the importance of having an Internet marketing strategy. It is one of the most cost effective ways to market to a large audience. Not only is it a large audience, but you can target the people who are just looking for air conditioning and heating services. You simply can not accomplish this with any other marketing medium.
